Well this week-end my internet connection at

home bit the dust. The dial up would connect but

internet explorer wouldn't open any pages. My

FTP program wouldn't connect and our virus scan

program wouldn't download updates. My Dad played

with the stupid computer all day to try and get

it working but to no avail.

He ended up reimaging the C drive which solved

the internet problem however caused him to have

numerous other problems because he had forgotten

passwords from when the image was made. So now

we have a firewall up but he can't alter it's

settings because he can't remember the password.
Our virus scan program won't allow itself to be

installed because the version of the program

that was on the image is the old version and Dad

couldn't get it to completely uninstall itself

and therefore won't allow for him to install the

current version. So our computer is completely

vulnerable to whatever horrible viruses are out

there. Yeah it was a fabulous computer

week-end.

I did pretty much nothing all week-end. Well I

converted another audio tape for a lady in choir

to digital from analog. I still have 5 to go!

The music isn't that bad not like the practice

tapes I had to do for Karen's choir. They were

horrible to have to listen to. Even my family

wondered what was going on in my room with that

racket!

I also worked on the website for the Image dance

group. I got a framework together I just need

the content to put it all together. But once I

get that up on the net for them to see then I'll

get my missing pieces.

I start my casual on-call job in Curriculum

Design next wednesday. I can definitely use the

extra money. Speaking of money my Dad did all

the income tax already! I should be getting my

refund soon! All that money is going to my loan

though so it's not like it's an exciting thing.

Only 3 more weeks to go till my trip to Toronto!

I'm looking at getting a capture card and a

DVD burner while I'm down there! We'll see.

Today it's bright and sunny. Ah...spring.
